Every December, our organization brings the community together to celebrate the season—with purpose and compassion. Through our signature event, the 12 Bars of Christmas Pub Crawl & Charity Toy Drive, we unite residents, visitors, and local businesses to spread joy where it’s needed most. Participants dress in festive holiday attire, enjoy our vibrant local bar scene, and contribute new toys to brighten the holidays for children in need.
With every step, every smile, and every donation, we turn celebration into meaningful impact.

Our Mission
The 12 Bars Hermosa Beach Charity Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to strengthening community bonds and giving back through festive, purpose-driven events. What began as a small holiday pub crawl among friends has evolved into a meaningful annual tradition—one that brings people together and provides essential holiday support for hundreds of families each year.
Why We Do It
We believe that joy, community, and compassion are most powerful when shared. By combining celebration with charitable action, we create opportunities for people to connect, uplift one another, and make a tangible difference. Through our annual toy drive, held in partnership with the Hermosa Beach Police Department, we help ensure that children and families in need experience the magic and warmth of the holiday season.

Get ready to jingle all the way down Pier Avenue and Hermosa Avenue as we celebrate the season for a great cause!

Time: 7:00 PM – Midnight
Cost: Free to join—just bring a new, unwrapped toy 🎁
Dress Code: Ugly sweaters, Santa suits, reindeer onesies…the more festive, the better!
Where Your Donation Goes: All toys collected will support the Hermosa Beach Police Toy Drive, helping local children and families enjoy a brighter holiday season.
🎁 Donate a Toy – Bring a new, unwrapped toy to the event or drop it off at participating bars.
👯 Volunteer – Help us coordinate, decorate, and keep the festivities running smoothly.
